Eyeliner problems......?

Resolved Question

Eyeliner problems......?

Ok, so i've got really really dark eyes, that look black and seem to stand out quite a lot against my pale skin. So i thought that by wearing black eyeliner, they'd look less dark compared to the eyeliner, only i made it worse. My eyes ended up looking even darker and kinda scary.
I've tried white/silver eyeliner but it makes my eyes look weird and kinda small so i just wanted to ask what eyeliner color would suit my eyes.
Thanx

I think color will have an impact, but I think the way you apply the eyeliner is what we need to focus on. If you want your eyes to look big but less stark against black eyeliner then I suggest only lining the top lid with a brown color. A pencil or cream eyeliner might work good on the top because you can draw in the line then blend it with a sponge or your finger. I don't know if you would like that look, but it may help. Adding eyeliner at the bottom of the lid will make the eyes stand out a lot, but that seems to be what you don't want. If you do want to add eyeliner to the bottom lid I suggest something light brown and start drawing the line from the outside corner of the eye and stopping halfway so you don't line the whole bottom lid. You can even purchase a powder liner that you apply like a eyeshadow. Sometimes that works well depending on the look you are going for. I hope this helps!

  • well i have dark eyes and i have bunch of different color eyeliner and if i use purple shirt i would wear purple eyeliner.
i just match it with whatever i am wearing
    GOOD LUCK!!!
  • a warm pale/sheer coral, brown, or nude will give a nice middle step between your skin and eyes (i'm assuming you're talking about your iris being dark).

    hope this helps

  • try using lesser tone of black and dont apply to much
