Can someone help me with MAC makeup please?

I want to start a collection.. does anyone have any ideas what prducts to start with?

Start off with the basics, dont jump right in. Start with a foundation, go to a MAC store and try the foundation because the shades are alot different to other foundations. remember that NC shades are for people with a olive skin tone with yellow undertones, and NW shades are for people with a more pink skin with red & bronze undertones.
They work your way up, powder, blush, liner, eye shadow, etc etc.
Dont bother with the brushes just yet, as you actually need to know how to use them correctly.
But like i said its best if you go along to a mac store and just spend some time having a look around trying things out as there is alot to take in.

• 1. 3 Basic eyeshadow- Vanilla, Carbon and All that glitters.
  2. 1 eyeliner. I would recommend fluid line in Black track.
  3. 1 Lipstick. Nude/pink. Ask a Make up artist for help.
  4. MAC Lip glosses are CRAP! I would not recommend them.
  5. A foundation selected by a MAC Make up artist.
  6. A concealer, i would recommend Studio finish.
  7. A powder, i would recommend Mineralized skin finish natural.
  8. A blush. Ask a a make up artist again for a suitable colour.

  i suggest start with:
  2 eye shadows (bronze and gold)
  1 eye shadow brush
  1 eye kohl (pencil) (Teddy)
  1 slimshine lipstick +gloss (Bare)
  and a few more brushes but they are quite expensive so only a few!

  pink swoon blush if you like pink, gingerly is you like peach
  all that glitters and satin taupe eyeshadows if you like shimmery, brule and espresso if you like matte.
  whatever eyeliner color you like
  i like creme cup lipstick, its a nice pink.
  i find mac lipglass to be sticky so i don't have any more.
  
  oh and i you want a concealer make suer to check out the different textures in the store for yourself :)
