I would love to achieve smokey, dark eyes, but how?! x?

Resolved Question

I would love to achieve smokey, dark eyes, but how?! x?

I've seen it plenty of times, but no matter how much I try I always seem to end up with big fat panda eyes! Does anyone know a 100% foolproof way to do it? Perhaps any really good makeup products? thank youu! x

  • Sephora sells a great eyeshadow quad for smokey eyes and it comes with an instruction manual on exactly how to do it. It's smokey eyes made easy even for beginners.

    You can also try this:
    1. Get a black, gray, tan (or beige if you're light skinned) and creamy white eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and black mascara.
    2. Line your eyes with black eyeliner, concentrating a bit on the top lid. Then slightly smudge the top liner.
    3. Apply black eyeshadow over your main lid.
    4. Apply the gray into your crease.
    5. Apply the tan over the gray shadow and apply the creamy white onto your browbone.
    6. Apply mascara.
    7. Practice, practice, practice! You have to learn where to concentrate the color on your eyes.
There are also good tutorials on youtube, so you can check there if you need a more visual explanation.

Good luck and hope my answer helped!

  • the only thing i can say is go very easy with whatever products you use. Chances are you just using too much at once, the best thing to do is start with a light grey shadow over your lid , then use a darker shade in the crease, and a tuch of black at the outer corners, then use a liner in the top and bottom and gently smudge with a small smudging brush preferably, i think this is a great tutorial and if you follow her directions exactly (don't worry about using the same products and brushes just use the closest alternative you can find, i got some really cheap great brushes from elf) and then just practice until you get it right. Trying something for the first time just as you about to head out the door always ends in disaster!! sorry this is such a long answer hope it wasn't too repetitive!
